The Science of Intermittent Oxygen Training (Intermittent Hypoxic Hyperoxic Treatment)

  • Mar 5
  • 2 min read

What is it?

An intelligent oxygen interval training system inspired by how the body adapts to high-altitude conditions, designed to support performance, recovery, and overall wellbeing.

How does it work?

The system alternates oxygen levels in a controlled way, switching between lower-oxygen and higher-oxygen phases. This gentle “training effect” encourages the body’s natural adaptation pathways and supports more efficient oxygen delivery over time.

Key health benefits

  • Improve exercise endurance

  • Burn fat and lose weight

  • Promote metabolism, improve immunity

  • Improve cardiopulmonary function

  • Improve brain cognitive function

  • Increase male vitality

  • Antihypertensive

  • Anti-atherosclerosis

Who is it for?

For individuals looking to improve conditioning, recovery, and overall performance through a structured oxygen-based training routine.

Session details

You breathe through a mask while the system adjusts oxygen levels automatically. Blood oxygen saturation and heart rate are monitored in real time, and the session is personalized through intelligent controls to keep it comfortable and precise.

Available in

IHH-M1128 and IHH-M0934 models, with customisable colour and appearance.

What is Intermittent Hypoxic Hyperoxic Treatment?

Intermittent Hypoxic Hyperoxic Treatment is an oxygen-cycling training method inspired by how the body adapts to high-altitude conditions. The system alternates oxygen concentration in a controlled way to encourage natural adaptation pathways that support more efficient oxygen delivery over time.

During a session, you breathe through a mask while the device adjusts oxygen levels automatically using real-time readings from blood oxygen and heart rate sensors. Oxygen concentration typically ranges from 9% to 34%, depending on the model and configuration, to keep the experience precise, safe, and comfortable.

What is built into the system?

Precise oxygen control across a wide range

Oxygen concentration is adjustable and tightly regulated to support accurate, repeatable sessions.

Real-time monitoring and intelligent software

Built-in detection tracks key signals during use, while software control adjusts the session automatically for a smoother, more personalised experience.

High-performance air separation and steady flow

Uses Parker separation membranes (USA) and maintains adequate gas flow to keep delivery consistent and comfortable.

Designed for ease and comfort

Easy to move and set up, with an overall design focused on a more comfortable user experience.
